Team Profile:
A&M's Global Tax business has a team of highly skilled and seasoned tax professionals, experienced in providing practical tax advice to corporate and private equity clients throughout the India investment cycle including structuring an efficient exit. We are now rapidly expanding across Asia and looking for bright seasoned TAX professionals for our India office.
A&M professionals come with deep operating and financial-related experience. The team uses an integrated, focused, and tailored approach to rapidly identify and understand potential deal breakers, value drivers, and other areas of specific interest to our clients. Our professionals have significant experience on both buy side and sell side transactions across multiple different industries
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Director / Senior Director in our corporate tax team you are expected to have significant knowledge in the matters below and be able to project manage and deliver client projects in the following areas:
Conduct tax due diligences and transaction structuring
Lead tax advisory engagements across mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, restructurings, joint ventures, and capital market transactions.
Advise clients on transaction structuring from direct and indirect tax perspectives, ensuring commercially viable and tax-efficient outcomes.
Support clients on acquisition integrations, post-deal restructuring, and transaction implementation.
Advise multinational and domestic clients on cross-border transactions, corporate reorganizations, and international tax considerations.
Work closely with financial, commercial, legal, valuation, and operational diligence teams to deliver integrated transaction solutions.
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs, private equity funds, investment banks, corporate development teams, and legal advisors.
Drive business development initiatives, prepare proposals, participate in pitches, and contribute to practice growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring quality delivery across engagements.
Stay abreast of evolving tax regulations, judicial precedents, and market trends impacting corporate transactions.
Qualifications and experience
CA with more than 10 years of experience in preferably Big4, Big law firm
Excellent technical knowledge
Great leadership qualities
Effective communication and presentation skills
Get along well within the team
Persistent and persuasive
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
