Team Profile:
A&M's Global Tax business has a team of highly skilled and seasoned tax professionals, experienced in providing practical tax advice to corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction life cycle. We are now rapidly expanding across Asia and looking for bright seasoned TAX professionals for our India office.
A&M professionals come with deep operating and financial-related experience. The team uses an integrated, focused, and tailored approach to rapidly identify and understand potential deal breakers, value drivers, and other areas of specific interest to our clients. Our professionals have significant experience on both buy side and sell side transactions across multiple different industries.
How will you contribute:
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience in assisting client with GST audits/investigations, refunds, etc.
- Experience in representing clients before the tax authorities / appellate authorities in relation to audits / assessments / litigation matters
- Ability to advise clients on Indirect tax/GST laws and regulations with industry insights (where relevant)
- Managing compliance/advisory/assessment/litigation mandates at account level
- Maintaining and enhancing strong client relationships
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified CA or lawyer
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in local State language and English communication
- Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and conceptualising/creating presentations
