The Team
A&M’s European Valuation & Modelling Services team is dynamic and rapidly expanding, with established teams in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Madrid, and Paris. The team specializes in financial modelling services across areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring, Private Equity portfolios, Contentious Valuations, and Complex Financial Instruments.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with international colleagues, and contribute to impactful client engagements.
How you will contribute
- Assist senior team members with project delivery, including the development and testing of financial models.
- Prepare and support client workshops, meetings, and calls to scope and design models, gather input data, and validate calculations.
- Work on valuation assignments, including insolvency & restructuring models, M&A models, business planning models, and project finance models.
- Collaborate with clients, including infrastructure and private equity funds, as well as large corporates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Expertise in accounting, corporate finance, and tax principles, with experience applying these in a modelling context.
- Relevant consulting experience in financial modelling, preferably at a leading accounting or consulting firm, investment bank, or boutique modelling firm.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling tools and software (e.g., Excel, VBA, Python).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English (business level); additional European or Chinese language skills are highly valued.
