Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, go-to-market, or a related business operations function.
- Experience managing a team and collaborating with senior-level, cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience directing operational cycles, owning planning cadences, and driving initiatives from creation to execution.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience presenting to executives and communicating with cross-functional management teams.
- Experience planning and managing at both the strategic and operational levels in a hyper-growth environment.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and the market landscape.
- Understanding of Google Cloud's go-to-market (GTM) strategy and operational frameworks.
- Excellent business acumen, thought leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive business implications from data.
About The Job
As the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Go-to-Market (GTM) Practice for Google Cloud, you will own and drive the integration of strategic go-to-market plans across our practices and transformation efforts across practice and GTM to capture outsized business growth and operational efficiencies. Partnering closely with cross-functional leaders, you will be directly accountable for ensuring that distinct practice strategies are synthesized into a high-impact global framework and that operational models are successfully implemented across the organization.
In this role, you will develop and synthesize GTM strategies across practices that expand and capture market opportunity, act as the strategic engine that drives alignment and accountability across unique product areas, and drive business transformations to grow the business and capture stronger operational efficiencies.
The success of this role is measured by the effective integration of practice-level strategies and the successful cross-functional implementation of strategic initiatives. You will have a direct team and work closely with global practice leaders, regional counterparts, and cross-functional partners in engineering, marketing, field, and partner to drive alignment across Google Cloud’s unique practices.

- Drive and synthesize individual Practice GTM strategies. Guide practice leads and hold them accountable to overarching standards, partnering closely to develop, refine, and integrate their distinct plans into a unified, high-impact global GTM framework.
- Lead high-priority organizational transformations and change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new strategic GTM frameworks and operational models.
- Partner with key business stakeholders and our analytical and operational teams to identify business growth opportunities and drive initiatives that capture outsized business growth and operational efficiencies across the Practice organization and broader GTM.
- Act as the strategic engine across the GTM Practice organization, driving accountability with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Partner, and Engineering) to ensure strategic initiatives and operational models are successfully implemented.
