A&M Tax Team
The A&M Tax team is an independent group of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. The Southeast Asia Tax team is now looking for high performing and motivated professionals to join our fast-growing tax team in Singapore.
How You Will Contribute
As a Manager in A&M Incentives Advisory, you will lead and support a range of client engagements, including:
Incentive Advisory & Structuring
• Advise clients on Singapore and regional incentive regimes, including tax incentives, tax credits, government grants and other related subsidies.
• Assess eligibility for incentive programmes and develop practical recommendations aligned with clients' business, investment and growth objectives.
• Advise on incentive structuring considerations, including substance, governance, operating model, headcount, capability building and economic contribution requirements.
Business Case Development & Government Engagement
• Lead the development of business plans, investment narratives and economic contribution cases to support incentive applications and expansion projects.
• Support discussions with economic agencies, including the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other government stakeholders.
• Prepare executive briefing materials and presentation decks for management and government engagements.
Incentive Application & Compliance Support
• Manage incentive application processes, including information gathering, financial analysis, drafting submissions and coordinating stakeholder inputs.
• Support clients in addressing agency queries and discussing incentive terms and conditions.
• Advise on post-award compliance obligations, annual reporting requirements, commitment tracking and incentive governance frameworks.
• Assist clients with incentive amendments, renewals and expansion applications as business requirements evolve.
Cross-Border Incentive Advisory
• Support location assessments and investment evaluations through the comparison of incentive programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Monitor incentive policy developments and emerging government support measures across key markets.
Practice Development
• Manage client relationships and day-to-day engagement delivery.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership publications, market initiatives and business development activities.
• Collaborate with A&M teams across Tax, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance and other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a commercially minded advisor who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will have:
• Approximately 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate tax, incentives and related advisory work.
• Experience gained within a professional services firm, government agency, corporate organization or a combination of these environments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax incentives, tax credits, grants and government support frameworks.
• Strong Singapore and international corporate tax experience, including advising on tax planning, cross-border operating models, investment holding structures and commercially practical structuring solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business scenarios and develop commercially practical recommendations.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality client deliverables and executive-level materials.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver projects independently.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
Education & Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accountancy, Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, ACA, CTA or equivalent would be advantageous.
