Accenture is expanding its Defense Technology practice with a visionary Lead Solution Architect to drive the next generation of mission-focused synthetic environments and AI-enabled platforms. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and delivering complex architecture for NATO defense organizations and leading global defense industry clients.
You will define the technical architecture for simulation, training, multi-domain operations (MDO), and AI-driven decision-support solutions. Our work is anchored in Accenture’s Common Synthetic Environment (CSE) — a strategic global asset developed collaboratively across our international engineering teams.

As a Lead Solution Architect, you will:
Collaborate with client teams to understand requirements and define end-to-end simulation and AI architectures
Design scalable, cloud-native synthetic environment platforms supporting training, operational planning, analytics, and wargaming usecases
Shape architectural vision and platform strategies during sales and early engagement phases
Guide and mentor development teams to ensure architectural integrity, compliance, and alignment with program objectives
Lead architecture governance processes, including design reviews, decision records, standards, and best practices
Oversee a team of architects across application, infrastructure, simulation, and data domains
Contribute to the evolution of the CSE global asset, ensuring architectural consistency and technical excellence across markets
Work with an ecosystem of industry-leading technologies and partners, including: NVIDIA, Palantir, Unity, Palantir, Varjo, Red Hat, Dell, OpenAI, OneArc, Plexsys, Battlespace Simulations, Hadean, Valkyrie Enterprises, and more.
What We Are Looking For:
10+ years of experience in senior architecture roles within complex, mission-critical environments
Experience designing event-based, distributed, and federated system architectures
Understanding of AI technologies and modern data platforms (e.g., Palantir, Databricks)
Proficiency with architecture frameworks and modelling standards (Archimate, NAF, UML..)
Background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and secure-by-design engineering
Solid programming fundamentals and ability to engage hands-on if needed
Cloud expertise (OpenShift, Azure, or equivalent)
Knowledge of system hardening, secure environments, and defense-sector requirements
