As a TRS Senior Manager, you will lead complex engagements for corporates, lenders and investors – shaping strategic options, stabilizing liquidity and maximizing recoveries across turnarounds, distressed transactions and formal insolvency appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead independent business reviews (IBRs), liquidity analyses and options assessments
- Direct asset realization and recovery strategies; oversee creditor processes, claims adjudication and investigations in collaboration with legal advisors
- Manage day‑to‑day receiverships and liquidations, including cross‑border cases involving the Chinese Mainland and key offshore jurisdictions
- Drive alignment among stakeholder, including boards, lenders and funds; present clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- oversee engagement economics, risk and compliance, and team development; support business development, proposals and market visibility
Requirements:
To qualify for the role you must have
- 7–10+ years’ relevant experience with proven leadership in restructuring, insolvency or special situations
- Strong commercial judgement, advanced financial analysis skills and confident executive communication
- A proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and navigate ambiguity under pressure
- Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
- HKICPA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification required; insolvency credentials (e.g., Diploma in Insolvency) preferred
- Willingness to travel based on client needs
